Rock County Folk Symposium

The first weekend in September always marks the end of summer proper, with the weather beginning to cool and schools everywhere reconvening fall classes after this last, glorius, hoorah. Some of us Madisonians decided to go out with a bang, and figured the place we could do that loudest (without getting arrested) would be out in a beautiful clearing on the Rock River. Entertainment was provided by some of Madison’s finest musicians and sweet corn was provided by a bus-full of giddy kids who happened upon a field full of it. Below is but a fraction of what I saw and heard out in those woods.
